USA Wrestling 2026 Phil Portuese Northeast Regional Championships will be held in Pocono Manor, PA on May 8-10, 2026, and will take place at Kalahari Resort, Pennsylvania. This event is a qualifier for the 2026 Junior National Championships in Fargo, ND
The Northeast Regional Championships offers divisions for 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U & Juniors. The Northeast Regional offers both boys and girls an opportunity to compete in Freestyle and Greco-Roman styles of competition. This event is a great preparation for both Kids Nationals and 16U/Junior National Championships

This year’s event will feature multiple national championships and World Team Trials. It is expected to be another great week of wrestling for athletes of many ages in one of the nation’s most popular tourist destinations.

The top FOUR place winners in this tournament will advance to the EAST Regional Tournament to be held on Saturday, April 18 & Sunday April 19 at the Executive Education Academy Charter School in Allentown, PA including Open Division. There will be a $32.50 advancement fee to be collected at the District Tournament through an online registration link. The advancement fee is expected to be paid before leaving the District Tournament and before receiving your medal. A 1 lb. weight allowance will be given at the Regional Tournament.
